Between Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, Walt Disney World has a ton of experiences to offer Guests. But when it comes to classic attractions, Magic Kingdom easily has each remaining Disney Park beat.

Attractions such as the Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world,” Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more can be found at the Disney Park. But Magic Kingdom isn’t just home to dark rides, classic thrill rides can also be found all over the theme park.

Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, the recently closed Splash Mountain (which will reopen as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure), and the more recent instant classic, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, can also be found throughout the Disney Park.
However, two of these attractions closed at the same time on February 23, leaving only one thrill ride in the entire Park.

Around midday (the busiest time of the day for a Disney Park), the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train went down and was listed as ‘Temporarily Unavailable’ on the Walt Disney World mobile app.
At the same time, Frontierland’s only operating thrill ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, was also listed as ‘Temporarily Unavailable.’

With both Fantasyland and Frontierland’s roller coaster attractions being down, Guests only had one thrill ride to turn to: Space Mountain.
At the time of this article’s publication, both the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are up and running again, so Guests have options to choose from. However, for that short amount of time in which both attractions were down, Tomorrowland saw quite a crowd.
