Special Surprise Coming
A new video advertising Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest has some extra magic to it. In the video, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse are all seen together celebrating the new year.
Although there isn’t much to the video, a “special surprise” is expected to air during the show during the 11:00 pm hour.
Many Hopes and Predictions
Since there isn’t much to go on following the video, many Disney fans have taken it upon themselves to predict what could be coming in the big surprise.
With 2024 being a leap year, many are looking towards a 24-hour event or something similar to celebrate the additional day of magic.
Other guests hope Disney will reveal what will be beyond Big Thunder Mountain. In 2022, during the D23 event, Josh D’Amaro announced a new “beyond Big Thunder Mountain” Blue Sky concept.
The concept art for this new area featured Disney villains and concepts from Coco (2017) and Encanto (2021).
With Univeral Studios Orlando hard at work with Epic Universe, it wouldn’t surprise us to see Disney make a big announcement heading into the new year.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest will kick off on Sunday, December 31, starting at 8:00 p.m. EST.
