We previously announced that Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World would be expanding, including the addition of a 15-story tower to the property. The new tower is set to officially open sometime next summer. Disney Parks Blog gave us a look at more of the details for the resort, including new renderings. The new tower will add 545 new guest rooms, which will also include 50 suites. The tower will become the main entry point for the entire resort, featuring a two-story lobby with cozy spots to relax and enjoy the resort. There will be dining available from the new, themed table service restaurant that will be located on the very top of the tower. The dining location will offer amazing views of all of Walt Disney World.

The existing rooms at the resort are also being updated. All of the 1,800 current rooms have new fixtures, furnishings and lighting. There will be another new dining location in the middle of Lago Dorado, the 14-acre lake at the resort. There will be walkways that stretch across the water to provide walkways to locations around the resort.
These changes will definitely update and bring new life to Disney’s Coronado Springs. What do you all think of these latest renderings?
