However, the ride’s positive aspects do not come without some major negatives as well.

What Happened to Hyperspace Mountain?
At one time, Hyperspace Mountain was considered one of Disneyland Paris Resort’s best attractions. Unfortunately, over the years, this reputation has slowly slipped. This month, the ride has suffered from some significant mechanical and superficial problems.
Recent photos of the attraction show it has slipped into quite a severe state of disrepair. DLP Report, which updates fans on the happenings at Disneyland Paris Resort, has kept fans informed about the updates on this attraction. According to their reports, things have not been looking great.
-HyperSpace Mountain was closed from May 13 to 17 for maintenance.
-It did not open on the 18th as scheduled but did so the next day with breakdowns.
-It has since operated with many breakdowns.

Closure Set for Attraction
Thankfully, the attraction is set to close and will receive some much-needed attention soon. Right now, the Hyperspace Mountain website has the closure slated to begin on June 3, 2024. As of now, no opening date has been given for this ride.
It is quite sad for fans to see such a beloved ride fall into such a state of disrepair. Hopefully, Disneyland Paris Resort will make more of an effort moving forward to keep the state of their attractions in better condition. With guests spending thousands on theme park vacations, the standards should be higher.
