The report states that the complaint was lodged before they started shooting the last season and included “pages and pages of accusations,” prompting an internal investigation that lasted several months.

The outlet also reported that the claims did not involve sexual impropriety. Brown allegedly had a personal representative with her throughout the filming of the show’s final episodes, which are expected to feature several scenes shared with Harbour, given their characters’ close father-daughter relationship.

Lily Allen was said to have supported Harbour – who has also become a Marvel Cinematic Universe fixture as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian in recent years – throughout the investigation, even as her marriage began to deteriorate.

Brown’s representatives declined to comment, while Netflix has remained silent. A source told the Daily Mail, “Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes. Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map.
