“Sold Out” No More? Disney Opens up Christmas Party Access to All Guests
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party sold out shortly after the first special event kicked off in November, with guests paying between $169 and $229 per person for the late-night Magic Kingdom Park event. Those tickets promised special entertainment, treats, and exclusive merchandise available only during the after-hours celebration. However, as of early December 2025, some items once reserved for ticket holders are now being sold to guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park during regular operating hours.
Exclusive Merchandise Turns Up on Shelves for Daytime Visitors

On December 3, WDWNT reported that select merchandise from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party had appeared in stores accessible to all Magic Kingdom Park guests. These products typically require a party wristband for purchase, and they are often kept off the sales floor until the event begins each evening. In locations such as Star Traders in Tomorrowland, Disney cast members usually wait for the start of the party before bringing out these limited designs.

This week, though, that procedure changed. Several pieces of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party-branded merchandise are now available to daytime Magic Kingdom Park guests, giving non-attendees access to items once considered a perk of the expensive after-hours ticket.
What Items Are Now Available to All Guests?

At The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., guests can purchase the 2025 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party mug, Minnie Mouse ear headband, and the convertible LoungeFly backpack and tote crossbody. The bag, originally priced at $90, is currently discounted to $60 with any merchandise purchase, while the mug and headband remain full price. Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland is also offering the discounted LoungeFly bag.
Not all items were included in the daytime lineup. The Spirit Jersey, trading pins, ornaments, and other exclusive souvenirs are still available only to party attendees. Walt Disney World Resort has not announced whether additional merchandise will expand beyond the event as the season continues.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s Not-So-Exclusive Entertainment

While Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party keeps its entertainment offerings exclusive, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party traditionally shares select performances with daytime guests during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. After the final party date, Magic Kingdom Park often presents Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks during regular park hours. This annual practice allows families visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the busiest part of the holiday season to enjoy some of the event’s signature shows without purchasing a party ticket.
Guests planning a late December visit to the Magic Kingdom can check the My Disney Experience app for the most accurate list of entertainment offerings.
