Margot Robbie has cemented her place as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actresses. Her captivating performances and diverse filmography have garnered critical acclaim, commercial success, and a legion of fans around the world.

While the global phenomenon Barbie (2023) solidified Robbie’s status as a box office powerhouse, her career trajectory boasts an impressive range of roles that showcase her undeniable talent. Her breakout performance came in 2013 with Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, where she embodied the complex and captivating Naomi Lapaglia, the wife of Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). This critically acclaimed role marked a turning point in her career, propelling her into the Hollywood A-list.

Robbie’s versatility as an actress is undeniable. She redefined the iconic DC Comics character Harley Quinn, bringing a unique blend of humor, depth, and action to the role in Suicide Squad (2016). She reprised the fan-favorite character in Birds of Prey (2020) and The Suicide Squad (2021), further solidifying Harley Quinn as a standout in the DC Extended Universe.

Beyond superhero blockbusters, Robbie has consistently impressed audiences and critics with her dramatic portrayals. Her nuanced performance as the controversial figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya (2017) garnered her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, solidifying her reputation as a dramatic powerhouse.

Recent rumors suggest that Robbie might be taking on the high seas in a potential Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off movie. Beyond acting, Robbie has also established herself as a force behind the camera. She co-founded the production company LuckyChap Entertainment alongside her husband Tom Ackerley, producing films like I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, and of course, Barbie.

News of Robbie and Ackerley expecting their first child adds another exciting chapter to their personal lives.

Their paths first crossed on the set of the World War II period drama Suite Française in 2013. While Robbie was captivating audiences in front of the camera, Ackerley was honing his skills behind it as an assistant director. This initial collaboration blossomed into a deep friendship, eventually leading to love.

In December 2016, Robbie and Ackerley surprised the world by tying the knot in a private ceremony held in Australia’s Byron Bay. They famously kept their engagement under wraps, choosing to celebrate their commitment in an intimate gathering with loved ones.

In a recent interview, Ackerley offered a glimpse into their unique work-life balance. Describing their dynamic, he said, “[We spend] 24 hours a day [together]. It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.” This quote highlights the couple’s commitment to supporting each other both professionally and personally.

Now, Robbie is a top trending topic on X, with everyone sharing the below photos of the Hollywood star rocking her baby bump.

While Robbie becoming a mother is not a discovery that has received any negative reception, it may alter her future when it comes to joining the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean

Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow remains a defining image of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Sparrow, a witty and eccentric pirate captain, has captivated audiences with his flamboyant attire, rum-fueled antics, and cunning survival instincts. His character arc, woven throughout the five films (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006), Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007), Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)), is a captivating blend of adventure, freedom, and personal gain, constantly entangled with the supernatural and treacherous enemies.

Captain Jack Sparrow is a constant presence throughout the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Each film throws him into thrilling high-seas adventures. From cursed Aztec gold in The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) to mythical creatures in At World’s End (2007), Sparrow navigates a world of perilous encounters. He forms and breaks alliances with other pirates, all while displaying moments of surprising bravery and cunning. Whether it’s reclaiming his beloved ship, the Black Pearl, or facing the legendary Trident of Poseidon, Sparrow’s wit and resourcefulness keep him afloat.

Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Jack Sparrow propelled the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to become one of Disney’s most successful ventures. The films garnered over $4.5 billion in gross revenue and cultivated a dedicated global fanbase. However, Depp’s departure from the franchise in 2018 sparked controversy among fans. A wave of public support for Depp emerged, with fans rallying behind him through social media campaigns and boycotts directed at Disney. Notably, Depp himself stated during a public trial that he wouldn’t return for $300 million, highlighting the strength of his connection to the character.

With the demand for Captain Jack Sparrow at an impasse, Disney finds itself navigating uncharted waters. While fans yearn for a sixth installment featuring Depp, Disney is charting a new course. Veteran producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently confirmed two separate Pirates of the Caribbean projects are in development. One features a reboot script penned by Jeff Nathanson, while the other is a spin-off starring Margot Robbie, written by Christina Hodson. This two-pronged approach indicates Disney’s continued interest in the franchise while exploring new narrative avenues.

Bruckheimer expresses confidence in both projects, with Disney enthusiastic about Robbie’s involvement. Whether Captain Jack Sparrow will return to the high seas alongside these new ventures remains to be seen. However, one thing is certain: the legacy of Johnny Depp’s portrayal and the enduring popularity of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise ensure the spirit of adventure continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Now that Robbie is pregnant, however, she may need to put a pause on jumping into what is likely to be a physically demanding role for quite some time.

While there is a chance that Robbie’s version of Pirates of the Caribbean will one day be made, it looks like at this time, the actress has chosen family over Disney.

While she may not be acting too much during this time, Margot’s producer hat is on and ready. At the moment, she is producing a movie about Monopoly.
