21-Year-Old School Chaperone Arrested for Video Voyeurism at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom
A 21-year-old man is facing a felony charge after allegedly using his phone to record underneath a woman’s skirt while waiting in line at Magic Kingdom’s TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction on Tuesday evening.

Ryan Boufakeer, an Orlando resident, was taken into custody on May 27 and booked into the Orange County Jail on a charge of video voyeurism, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by ClickOrlando. The alleged incident took place in the Tomorrowland queue between 7:05 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
According to the affidavit, the woman standing ahead of Boufakeer in line noticed suspicious movement behind her. When she turned around, she reportedly saw him “on his hands and knees” holding “a black iPhone angled upward” beneath her skirt. She immediately confronted him and demanded that he delete any footage. Boufakeer reportedly showed her what appeared to be a deleted video on his device, though she told responding deputies she could not confirm it was the same clip.
Disney security personnel located a man matching the victim’s description elsewhere in the park and escorted him to a security office, where Orange County Sheriff’s deputies later met them.

After being read his Miranda rights, Boufakeer reportedly admitted to crouching in the queue area and recording. He told investigators he had positioned himself near an outlet to charge his phone while accompanying students from South Creek Chorus, a school group visiting the park that day.
Investigators say Boufakeer stated the recording lasted “approximately 15 seconds” and that he intended to keep the footage “for sexual gratification.” When asked whether additional inappropriate recordings existed on his device, he declined to answer further and requested an attorney.
TRON Lightcycle / Run, which opened at Magic Kingdom in 2023, has become one of the park’s highest-demand experiences. The high-speed coaster reaches nearly 60 mph and is themed to Disney’s TRON franchise, which spans the original 1982 film, 2010’s TRON: Legacy, and the 2025 release Tron: Ares. Located in Tomorrowland near Space Mountain, it regularly draws some of the longest wait times in the park, particularly in the evening hours when the attraction’s illuminated canopy creates a striking visual backdrop throughout the area.

Walt Disney World operates extensive security measures across its parks, including uniformed and plainclothes security teams along with widespread camera systems. As of the time this article was published, Disney had not issued a public statement regarding the arrest.
This is a developing story.
