Right now, the whole world is busy gearing up for the cinematic event of the year; the live-action The Little Mermaid. The film has been highly anticipated for the last few years due to the film’s all-star cast. Many fans are also excited to meet the new, live-action versions of the beloved characters. The historic casting of Halle Bailey as Princess Ariel, a character who was white in the original film, has fans thrilled to meet the character’s new iteration in the Parks.

Disney Welcomes Halle’s Ariel
Disney fans who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a live-action “The Little Mermaid” movie can now get up close and personal with a live-action Ariel at the Disney Parks. The “The Little Mermaid” meet and greet comes to the Disney Parks, including Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, in late May. This new edition promises to be a new highlight of the already magical theme parks.
At Walt Disney World Resort, Guests will be able to experience “The Little Mermaid” meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, while at Disneyland Resort, visitors can find Ariel at the popular Ariel’s Grotto at Disney’s California Adventure, near the “it’s a small world” Attraction. The “The Little Mermaid” meet and greet will allow Guests to take photos with Princess Ariel and get to know her in a more personal setting.

The new “The Little Mermaid” meet and greet is a unique opportunity for Guests to get to know the new live-action version of Ariel. Ariel’s story has captured the imaginations of children and adults alike for decades, and seeing her in live-action form is a unique experience that will provide a deeper connection with the character.
