Kali River Rapids Now Closed For Refurbishment Through April 2021

Hello Disney’s Animal Kingdom adventurers! If you’re heading to the Asia portion of this stunning Walt Disney World park, you’ll want to take note that the popular water raft ride, Kali River Rapids, is now closed for refurbishment. And yes, you’ll have to wait until April to ride it again!

As shared on the Walt Disney World website: “Kali River Rapids will be closed for refurbishment from Jan. 4 through early April.”

It’s not uncommon for Disney to close Kali River Rapids during the colder months for refurbishment, although this one is a rather lengthy closure.

 

We’ll look forward to drifting through the wild rapids once again when Spring 2021 rolls around! Until then, we’re off to enjoy more Expedition Everest!
