‘Jurassic World’ Character Returns in Upcoming Sequel, New Trailer Reveals

Fans of the Jurassic franchise have a lot to look forward to in 2025, from the upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) to the first-person action-adventure video game “Jurassic Park: Survival” (which is due a release date any day now).

Another major highlight is the return of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory for its third season.

The new season follows up on the events of last year’s Season 2, bringing back the characters from Camp Cretaceous and introducing exciting new twists. Now, the trailer for Season 3 has finally dropped, and it looks like this season will bring even more intense dinosaur action, thrilling discoveries, and unexpected alliances.

The third season of Chaos Theory picks up where Season 2 left off, diving deeper into the mystery that has been building throughout the series. In the latest trailer, we see plenty of familiar faces from the Camp Cretaceous crew, including Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams), Kenji (Darren Barnet), Sammy (Raini Rodriguez), and Yasmina (Kausar Mohammed).

However, it’s not just the main crew set to make a big impact in Season 3. Soyona Santos, the black market dealer who made her first appearance in 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion, is set to return, after having made her animated debut in Chaos Theory Season 2.

While Chaos Theory has always leaned into darker themes compared to its predecessor, the return of a character with Soyona’s motivations will certainly ramp up the stakes.

In true Jurassic fashion, the dinosaurs will also play a central role in the new season. The trailer is filled with various species, from familiar favorites to new and terrifying creatures. The action looks as intense as ever, with the characters once again finding themselves at the mercy of the prehistoric predators on a globe-trotting adventure.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 3 premieres on Netflix on April 3.

Jurassic World Rebirth releases in theaters on July 2.
