Jurassic World Attraction Shutting Its Doors Next Year

Since debuting in 1993, Jurassic Park has expanded far beyond Steven Spielberg’s film, growing into a multi-billion-dollar franchise (now more commonly referred to as Jurassic World) that includes sequels, animated shows, video games, and theme park attractions.

These experiences have allowed fans to step inside the world of Isla Nublar — and one of the most recent examples is now preparing to wrap up its London run.

Jurassic World: The Experience Is Ending Soon

Jurassic World: The Experience, located at NEON at Battersea, will hold its final tours on January 4, 2026 (unless there’s another extension). The availability calendar on the attraction’s official website and on ticket sellers seemingly confirms this, showing no available tours beyond January 4.

Previously titled Jurassic World: The Exhibition, the experience returned to the UK in May of this year and offers a guided walk-through across several environments inspired by the Jurassic World films. Guests pass through the franchise’s iconic gates and move through a sequence of spaces populated by life-size animatronic dinosaurs.

Among the dinosaurs are a Brachiosaurus, Velociraptors, a Carnotaurus, and a T. rex. The attraction also includes laboratory settings with dinosaur hatchlings and fossil displays, along with themed areas such as the Valley of the Gyrospheres. Photo opportunities are built into the experience, including moments with a baby dinosaur.

“Board the ferry to Isla Nublar and pass through the towering gates of Jurassic World,” the official description reads. “Walk beneath the shadow of a majestic Brachiosaurus, come face to face with fierce Velociraptors, venture into the Valley of the Gyrospheres, take a selfie with a baby dinosaur, then brace yourself for the ultimate heart-pounding moment: a close encounter with the most legendary predator of them all… the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex.”

A New Era for Jurassic World in the UK Could Be Coming

While the Battersea exhibit is closing early next year, Jurassic fans still have several options to experience the franchise in person. Universal Studios destinations worldwide feature long-running Jurassic attractions, including rides and themed areas.

Those existing experiences may soon be joined by another, as Universal Studios Great Britain is rumored to include a Jurassic-themed land as part of its future plans. If that happens, the franchise’s presence in the UK may soon move from temporary exhibitions to a permanent park setting — ensuring the dinosaurs continue to roar for years to come.
