Jurassic World Attraction Closing Down Imminently, Guests Left Devastated
Around 30 visitors with discounted tickets were unable to enter Jurassic World: The Experience at Battersea Power Station on Monday, December 29, after a booking system error oversold certain time slots.
While most guests were accommodated in alternative sessions, some families were turned away entirely, leaving disappointed children and parents standing outside the exhibit.
Per the BBC, Neon, the company running the attraction, and Wowcher, which supplied the vouchers, have both issued apologies and confirmed that all affected customers would receive full refunds.

One such visitor, a mother who had brought her son from nearby Enfield, said they had been looking forward to the experience for months. “He just burst into tears,” she said.
Neon said it was reviewing its booking processes to prevent similar issues in the future, and emphasized that the experience operates under strict capacity limits for safety, which contributed to the inability to accommodate every visitor at their original time slot.
The London attraction, a rebranded version of the previous Jurassic World: The Exhibition, offers a walk-through adventure filled with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs such as Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex.

However, the Battersea exhibit is set to close permanently on Sunday, January 4, marking the end of its run in the UK. For those still eager to experience Jurassic World’s dinosaurs, several Jurassic-themed Universal Studios attractions around the world remain open.
Even as the Battersea experience shuts down, Jurassic World’s presence in theme parks remains strong, with multiple ways to encounter the franchise’s iconic dinosaurs.
From roller coasters to interactive exhibitions, the franchise has successfully translated its cinematic thrills into real-world adventures, ensuring that visitors worldwide can still step into the world of Isla Nublar without needing to visit the movie theater.
