Huge news has just arrived from Disney!
For many Guests visiting a Disney Park, Character “meet and greets” are an essential part of their vacation. Getting to meet your favorite Disney character is a big reason why fans love heading to Walt Disney World Resort of Disneyland Resort on vacation. While some characters, like the Disney Princesses and the Fabulous Five, have regular meet and greets in the Disney Parks, some character interactions are much rarer.
Die-hard Disney fans love to experience rare character meet and greets. Luckily for them, an iconic character will be doing meet-and-greets for the first time ever! The new meet and greet are coming to Toontown Land, which is set to reopen this weekend at Disneyland Park.
New Meet and Greet Comes to Toontown
Toontown in Disneyland has undergone some serious renovations. The renewed land is going to have tons of new additions. Disney Imagineers have been working hard to bring Guests exciting additions like CenTOONial Park, Goofy’s house, Donald’s Boat, and many more fun and interactive activities. The new land is also going to feature tons of meet and greets with Toontown residents. Some less-seen characters like Clarabelle will be interacting with Guests. Theme Park reporter Scott Gustin was able to get an inside look at Toontown before it reopens this weekend and report on the new interactions.
Mickey will sport his traditional look when meeting guests inside.

The most exciting new addition is a brand new meet and greet! For the first time ever, Pete will be greeting Guests. Pete is a classic Disney character who is known for being the arch-nemesis of Mickey Mouse. Even though Pete is very well known by Disney fans, he has never had a big presence within the Parks.
