Hollywood Studios to Debut Brand-New Mickey Mouse Stage Show
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is stepping into a new chapter, and the biggest spark of that change arrives next summer when a brand-new production—Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!—opens in Animation Courtyard. For years, families have asked for more offerings geared toward little ones, and this show finally delivers something that feels both nostalgic and completely fresh.

The show takes inspiration from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and its modern revival, blending familiar characters with upbeat music, bright visuals, and highly interactive moments. Kids become part of the adventure as Mickey and Minnie realize their friends haven’t shown up for the big party. Instead of waiting, they hit the road to track down Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto, turning the entire experience into a playful journey.
This new production doesn’t just fill a scheduling slot—it gives young families a destination of their own inside a park full of thrill rides and cinematic set pieces. Disney has always thrived when it leans into its classic characters, and this show brings that charm front and center.

But the excitement doesn’t stop with the stage. The surrounding Animation Courtyard is in the middle of a major transformation. Disney has been refreshing the area to make it feel more lively and imaginative again, and once complete, it will be one of the most immersive corners of the park. Guests can look forward to The Magic of Disney Animation, a creative, character-filled walkthrough experience that highlights the craft of animation. It includes multiple themed spaces, oversized props, and special encounters with characters who appear as though they’ve stepped right out of the studio.

Another family favorite on the way is a whimsical new playground inspired by Mary Blair’s Alice in Wonderland concept art. The colors, the shapes, and the playful design bring Blair’s iconic style to life in a way young guests will instantly recognize and fall in love with.
Character meet-and-greets are also expanding, giving families new opportunities to interact with beloved faces from Disney’s animated history. Each one will be set inside visually creative rooms themed to animation departments—perfect for memorable photos.

When everything officially opens in 2026, it won’t just mark the debut of a new show. It will represent the revival of Animation Courtyard as a bright, dynamic hub where young children finally get their own pocket of pure Disney magic. And at the heart of it all will be Mickey, Minnie, and a colorful road trip that reminds fans why these characters have stayed beloved for generations.
