Guest Risks the Safety of Their Family as They Break One of Disney’s Biggest Rules

We totally get it, nobody likes rules, and if Walt Disney World Resort is the Most Magical Place on Earth, then there should be no rules, right? Wrong!

The rules are always set for a reason, and Walt Disney World Resort is no exception.

Although the exceptional customer service provided by Cast Members can often make Guests feel as if there are no rules at Disney World, the truth is that there are tons of rules.

After all, the Disney magic can only be achieved with a litany of rules put in place to keep Cast Members and Guests as safe as possible.

When Cast Members are trained to work at any Disney theme park, they’re taught about the Five Keys: Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency.

These Five Keys are the pillars of the Walt Disney World ethic, and you’ll notice that ‘Safety’ comes first. During training, they teach Cast Members that ‘Safety’ comes first on the list because it’s the most crucial key.

However, when Guests break specific rules, safety is completely thrown out of the window! One Guest recently visited Magic Kingdom and caught a video of a family breaking one of Disney’s most important rules:

In this TikTok, we can see that a Guest rushes through the street to get to the other side during a parade.

Luckily, nobody was hurt, although the action was reckless and incredibly risky and could have easily resulted in Cast Members, performers, and the Guests themselves getting injured.

Although rules are no fun, they’re put in place for a reason, and it’s essential to follow them while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
