Guest Finds Magical Moment Where They Least Expect It

Walt Disney World is full of magic, from your first view of Cinderella Castle to the nighttime fireworks. Guests travel across the world to make unforgettable memories with their families at the Disney Resort. One guest found magic when she was least expecting it but says it’s a moment she’ll never forget.

Every day, we hear that it is so easy to become overwhelmed at Disney World. Guests share stories of long wait times, sore feet, and expensive souvenirs. But today, we’re sharing a story that proves that so much magic is found in the little moments of a Walt Disney World vacation.

The term “magical moment” has been created by Disney Cast Members, describing unforgettable moments that are made at the Disney Parks. Well, how about when the Cast Members inspire others to inspire magical moments?

Mom Shares Magical Moment

One mom shared a story from her Walt Disney World vacation with her two children. The mom said the family had grabbed food from Casey’s Corner and, when there was no available seating, made their way to the HUB grass to enjoy their meal. While watching two kids and eating their meal, she noticed her daughter had picked a flower from the surrounding landscaping.

“I start to tell her not to do it again, and she gets up and hands it to a young man all alone who was just watching the castle show, eating an ice cream. She told him she’d picked it just for him and to have a nice day.”

Right away, this reminded me that magic is found in the little moments, even in the most magical place on earth! However, the mom went on to share more about their experience. She said that after the man finished his ice cream, she saw him quickly get up and leave the grass. Shortly after, he returned with his own magical surprise.

The mom shared that he returned “with a full sundae and says her gift meant the world to him. That this treat was courtesy of Mickey himself and to enjoy the magic of this wonderful place.”

Afterward, the mom said that the family will never forget this special moment in Magic Kingdom. This moment should remind us all that the magic of Disney is all around us in the kindness we spread.
