New Merchandise

New merchandise was released as part of the opening of The Villas at Disneyland Hotel today. DVC merchandise is available at Disney’s Fantasia Shop, found within the Disneyland Hotel lobby.

The new logo features four colored strips that could easily represent the four towers that make up the Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel. The color scheme for the new merchandise is bright but simple. The color scheme includes bright blocks of blue, red-orange, yellow, and pink.

Disneyland Hotel Transformation

Opening in 1955, the now-known Disneyland Hotel has been with the Disneyland Resort since day one of the magic. The hotel has been changed and updated many times, changing names and getting a new look. The Walt Disney Company didn’t own the hotel until it was purchased in 1988 as part of Disney’s purchase of the Wrather Corporation.

Once part of the Walt Disney Company, the area where the present-day Disneyland Hotel sits underwent a significant transformation from 1999-2001. Another major renovation started in 2009 at the Disneyland Hotel, bringing it to the Disneyland Hotel we know today.

The Disneyland Hotel has three towers named after the original lands found in Disneyland Park. Fantasy, Adventure, and Frontier make up the three towers. Each tower has a sleek, ultra-modern design connecting to the park’s original lands. The towers each provide something special for guests to experience.

The Disneyland Hotel recently underwent another update as a new Disney Vacation Club property was added to campus.

Villas at Disneyland Hotel

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel is the fourth tower at this landmark hotel. The villas celebrate the magic and storytelling of Disney through contemporary designs and pieces inspired by the stories, characters, and worlds of Disney Animation throughout the years.

Throughout this new tower, guests will find magical touches from films such as The Jungle Book (1967), Sleeping Beauty (1959), The Princess and the Frog (2009), and Fantasia (1940)With 344 themed rooms ranging from duo-studios that accommodate two guests to 3-bedroom grand villas that sleep up to twelve, everyone can experience the magic of the new tower.

A beautiful palette-shaped pool provides the perfect spot for an afternoon break from the parks. Guests can relax in one of the cabanas and enjoy delicious drinks and snacks from the pool bar. They are also able to experience the amenities at the nearby Disneyland Hotel.

With the opening of The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel, this fantastic hotel campus is the place to stay when visiting Disneyland Park.

I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next… More »
