Walt Disney World Resort has officially unveiled its long-awaited adults-only space at EPCOT. GEO-82, a luxurious new lounge themed after the iconic Spaceship Earth, opened its doors to guests on June 4, 2025, and it is exclusively available to those 21 and older. This marks one of the few spaces at the Central Florida Disney parks explicitly designed for adult guests, catering to those seeking a quieter, more sophisticated park experience.

The creation of GEO-82 was first announced at D23 Expo 2024, with Walt Disney Imagineering promising a unique and upscale venue for guests 21+. Located on the second floor of the Spaceship Earth post-show area, GEO-82 is housed in a space previously occupied by the Siemens lounge. The bar’s name draws inspiration from the geodesic dome of Spaceship Earth and the year that EPCOT first opened.
GEO-82 features internationally-inspired small bites and a selection of upscale craft cocktails, including unique options like the Clarified New York Sour and the Brown Butter Old Fashioned. The lounge also offers a premium “Fireworks Experience” package, giving guests the chance to enjoy breathtaking views of the Luminous The Symphony of Us fireworks show over the World Showcase Lagoon, paired with champagne, exclusive cocktails, and delectable small bites and desserts.
Earlier this week, EPCOT changed the Dreamers Point area in World Celebration by removing two pine trees that had framed the Walt the Dreamer statue. The picturesque trees blocked the view from GEO-82, which directly impacts the premium fireworks viewing experience offered to paying guests.
GEO-82 has already become a sought-after destination, with reservations selling out quickly as guests eagerly secure their spots at the new lounge. Advance reservations are highly recommended, with availability often disappearing within moments of opening 60 days in advance. The space is extremely limited, so guests hoping to enjoy this adults-only experience need to act fast when booking.
While GEO-82 offers a sophisticated retreat for adult guests, the family-friendly side of Walt Disney World Resort continues to thrive. Later this year, a new family-oriented lounge called The Beak and the Barrel will open at Magic Kingdom Park. Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, this new venue promises to offer fun and adventure for guests of all ages, with reservations expected to open sometime soon.
