Although Journey of Water is great, adding beautiful scenery, such as Te Fiti, and experiences for guests to EPCOT, Walt Disney World has taken it one step further, opening up the Journey of Air.

A Satirical Post!

Take note, Disney fans! The “Journey of Air” you are about to explore was an idea sparked from the humorous joke below.

The Journey of Air is a brand new EPCOT attraction located right behind the Moana Journey of Water attraction in World Celebration. This new addition is sure to freshen up current concerns over the theme park and add a nice, breezy place to rest and relax on those hot Florida days.

The Journey of Air is exactly what it sounds like air. Guests can enjoy a gusting experience that will send their hair flowing in the wind. Keeping to the elemental inspiration of Journey of Water, Journey of Air is truly a remarkable feat achieved by Walt Disney Imagineering.

As EPCOT has one water inspired attraction, they capitalized on the popularity of learning how our naturally occurring resources flow and shape the world we live in. Water and air work closely together to erode rock and create beautiful vast landscapes, so it’s only fair that air has its own attraction.

The new attraction features wild gusts of wind from underground pipes that will move large amounts of water throughout the park. Certainly, judging by the design and execution of Journey of Air, compared to Journey of Water, this new addition had to be a Disney Imagineer nightmare to design.

As you’re breezing through your My Disney Experience app, using Genie+ to secure an attraction to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, be sure to add this new feature to your daily plans while you’re visiting EPCOT.

Suppose you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios. In that case, it’s definitely worth the time to park-hop over to EPCOT, as the new attraction is incredibly refreshing and a breath of fresh air.

Obviously, this post is simply a joke featuring an X, formerly Twitter, post by user @krismeetsworld showing a free-running air flow from the overground pipe system near the Journey of Water attraction at EPCOT.

In the video, air can be seen leaving a crack in the pavement, as well as a manhole cover that says, “water.” Of course, commentators were quick to try and diagnose the issues, but as we don’t want to speculate, we’ll simply leave it as there’s air blowing hard from the ground at EPCOT.
