1. Try to Get A Boarding Pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

The first thing that guests should do when entering into Disney’s Hollywood Studios is checking what time the window for boarding passes opens for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and making sure to be prepped and ready at that time with the My Disney Experience App open. The thrilling and immersive attraction is by far the most popular in the park at the moment, and only those who obtain boarding passes are eligible to ride. Guests who do score a boarding pass are then free to enjoy the rest of the park until their group number is called at which point they have a designated amount of time to report to the attraction and enjoy!

2. Ride Slinky Dog Dash

After trying to obtain a boarding pass, guests should head straight for Toy Story Land to enjoy some other popular attractions early in the mornings before they have lengthy wait times. Slinky Dog Dash is a thrilling roller coaster where guests can board the character himself and blast off on a track built by Andy in his backyard. The attraction features gentle hills and drops and two launch sequences that offer guests thrills and beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Slinky Dog Dash is the perfect attraction to kick off a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

3. Ride Toy Story Mania

After Slinky Dog Dash, guests should head to nearby Toy Story Mania to enjoy an incredibly fun attraction that also features some healthy competition. Guests enter into a board game that Andy received and the toys have set up consisting of several 3D mini games where guests take aim at various targets. Each game features special targets and hidden Easter Eggs that trigger bonus points, and guests love trying to see who can score the highest in their vehicle and claim bragging rights for the rest of the day!

4. Breakfast at Trolley Car Café

After enjoying Toy Story Land, guests should head back towards the front of the park and Sunset Boulevard with a pit stop along the way to enjoy some much deserved breakfast and coffee. The Trolley Car Café is located on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards and is the one Starbucks location in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Serving up the full Starbucks menu of beverages and seasonal specialties, guests can also enjoy grab and go pastries and small bites in addition to sandwiches and other breakfast items that can be heated up. The Trolley Car Café is the perfect place to grab breakfast and fuel up for a busy rest of the day in the park.

5. Ride The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

After breakfast, guests should continue down Sunset Boulevard towards a popular and eerie attraction that brings guests into a beloved television series. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror allows guests to star in their own episode of the show when they enter into the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel and board a service elevator following in the footsteps of five guests who mysteriously disappeared many years ago. With a randomized drop sequence, each ride on the attraction in completely unique, offering up big thrills and spooky moments to guests.

6. Ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

After enjoying one thrill, guests should head next door to enjoy another one with high speeds and rocking music. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith begins with guests on a tour of G Force Records where they happen upon a recording session with the band and find themselves invited to a concert across town. Soon guests are strapped into super stretch limos and rocketing from zero to sixty through several inversions and the neon lights of downtown. With a blasting Aerosmith soundtrack, this attraction is popular with guests.

7. Ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

After enjoying some thrills on Sunset Boulevard, guests should head to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the newest area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There they can explore the Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu and board the beloved Millennium Falcon for an unforgettable adventure. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run had guests step into the cockpit of the iconic ship on a mission to pick up certain items and smuggler them to the right people. With guests taking on the various roles of pilot, engineer, and gunner, each experience and mission will be completely unique depending on how the team works together!

8. Lunch and Drinks at BaseLine Tap House

After an exciting and busy morning in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will definitely be ready to enjoy some lunch and drinks in a laid back atmosphere in order to recharge for the rest of the day. BaseLine Tap House is the perfect location to enjoy thanks to its large outdoor patio area where guests can relax at picnic tables underneath large fans and enjoy both the offerings as well as the people watching.
