This will be a vast improvement for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
One of the things that make Walt Disney World Resort unique from all other Disney Parks is the massive and incredible property it calls home. If you have visited the Central Florida Theme Park, you will understand just how big Disney’s land really is. The Resort holds four theme Parks, two water parks, and over 25 Resort hotels.
The expansible nature of Walt Disney World is great to experience as a tourist, but it also can be a logistical nightmare for some. Many tourists struggle to figure out how to navigate to the Parks and get around on their own. Oftentimes, transportation at Walt Disney World Resort can be a frustrating and time-draining experience for Guests.
Luckily, a new option for Guests entering Magic Kingdom Park has just come back for Guests.
Pathway Reopens to Magic Kingdom
For Guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, getting to Magic Kingdom Park just got much easier!
After a long wait and much anticipation, the walkway between Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom Park is finally open once more. This development is an addition to the Walt Disney World Resort transportation options, providing visitors with yet another seamless way to explore the magical world of Disney.
The pathway is conveniently located at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, one of the most iconic Walt Disney World resorts. Known for its Victorian-style architecture and classic elegance, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been a favorite of Disney-goers for years. The Resort has a prime location on the Seven Seas Lagoon near Magic Kingdom Park and a view of Cinderella Castle, which makes this pathway an easy and convenient way to get around and enjoy the Disney experience.
Pathway Returns After Dreadful Hiatus
When this walkway closed down in February of 2023, many fans were understandably upset. Many Guests pay the premium prices to stay at the Grand Floridian because of the easy access, and the closure of the pathway was very frustrating for some. Thankfully, the wait is over, and Guests are once again free to use this wonderful walkway.
