For Walt Disney World Annual Passholders spending time at EPCOT this summer, one limited-time offering is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

Disney’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration has returned with a range of perks reserved exclusively for Passholders. Guests can take advantage of a dedicated Passholder Lounge inside Restaurant Marrakesh, special merchandise, exclusive discounts, a new Toy Story-themed magnet, and a collectible popcorn bucket. However, one of the event’s most talked-about features is taking place inside World Celebration.
Disney converted the Magic Eye Theater into a Passholder-exclusive character greeting location running from May 1 through July 31. When the experience debuted, guests were greeted by Chip ’n’ Dale wearing their Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary costumes, bringing back the shimmering outfits that became closely associated with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”

The return of those anniversary costumes quickly generated excitement among longtime Disney fans. Many assumed the specialty attire had been retired permanently following the end of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary festivities. Positioned near Journey Into Imagination with Figment, the meet-and-greet has become one of the headline offerings of this year’s summer Passholder event.
What many guests may not realize, however, is that the location is no longer home to just one character experience.
Disney has quietly expanded the rotating lineup to include Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, both appearing in their own Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary outfits. Donald returns in his iridescent celebration jacket and vest, while Daisy wears her matching anniversary dress complete with gold accents. The appearances offer fans a chance to see costumes that have rarely been seen since the anniversary celebration concluded.

There is one important detail that could affect trip planning.
According to reports from WDWNT, Donald and Daisy only appear on Sundays. Throughout the remainder of the week, Chip ’n’ Dale continue greeting Passholders at the location. As a result, Sunday has become the sole day guests can meet the popular duck duo while they are dressed in their anniversary attire.
The Passholder-exclusive meet-and-greet operates daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through July 31. While Disney has continued introducing surprises throughout V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, Passholders hoping to meet Donald and Daisy specifically will need to schedule their EPCOT visit around the Sunday-only appearance window.

For Disney fans looking to revisit a recent chapter of Walt Disney World history, Sundays at EPCOT have become a particularly valuable opportunity, offering one of the event’s most limited character experiences.
