“F**king Immigrant,” Woman Yelled at for Speaking Spanish at Universal Epic Universe

A Universal Orlando Resort guest says she was yelled at for speaking Spanish at the Central Florida vacation destination’s newest theme park, Universal Epic Universe. The Universal Park guest’s story came to light in a video on social media.

Universal Epic Universe is the newest theme park to join the Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure family. Guests walking around the Universal park enter portals leading to five different lands: Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.

Less than four months after Epic Universe opened, the Universal Orlando Resort theme park was the site of a tragic accident. On September 17, 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, a theme park and roller coaster enthusiast, was found unresponsive on Stardust Racers, a roller coaster in Celestial Park. An investigation revealed that the disabled man died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries after blacking out during the ride. A lawsuit is ongoing.

Stardust Racers reopened on October 4, 2025, just weeks after the accident occurred. Universal Orlando Resort updated the boarding requirements for Stardust Racers and other park attractions, including Dragon Racer’s Rally and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment. Instead of transferring with assistance, guests using mobility devices must be able to walk a few steps independently to enter the ride vehicle.

In the video, the woman and her travel partner were chatting in Spanish while waiting in line for the Universal Park attraction when another guest began harassing them for not speaking English.

“Watch your f**king mouth,” the guest yelled. “…You can’t even speak English, you f**king immigrant.”

It’s unclear what happened before and after the guest started filming, or whether the guest who yelled at the two women faced consequences.

Universal Orlando Resort guests in similar situations are encouraged to contact the nearest Universal team member for assistance. They can page security to help diffuse the situation.

  1. First off, those individuals who feel they must drop the F-bomb whenever they speak have no class and a limited vocabulary (including, today, many of our political leaders who should know better). That incident was a matter of treating another individual with respect, no matter what language they spoke, how they may have been dressed, or having a physical disability. Where have our manners gone?
