Golden Oak comprises six distinct neighborhoods featuring multimillion-dollar homes designed by Walt Disney Imagineers. Situated roughly four miles from Magic Kingdom Park, the community offers residents exclusive benefits, including direct transportation access to the Central Florida Disney parks and invitations to special Disney-themed events.

At 6:44 a.m. on September 8, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from within the Golden Oak community. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the call log on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing:

Calls involving Walt Disney World Resort properties are frequently logged under a single broad address rather than the precise site of the emergency.

What prompted the “911 emergency” call remains unknown at this time. Should the Orange County Sheriff’s Office file a formal police report or bring criminal charges, more information could become available down the line. That said, if the situation turns out to involve a medical emergency or other non-criminal matter, authorities are likely to keep those specifics confidential out of respect for the privacy of those involved.
