Effective This Spring, Walt Disney World Ending 4 Big Resort Discounts
For weeks, families planning spring break trips have been weighing their options, refreshing resort pages, and trying to decide whether now is the moment to lock things in. That window is closing.
Walt Disney World will officially be removing four major resort discount offers tied to spring travel are ending after April 30. And while seasonal promotions come and go every year, the timing of this shift feels especially significant as peak spring travel continues.
These aren’t minor, obscure deals. They’ve been some of the most aggressive room discounts available this season.

Annual Passholder Savings Coming to a Close
One of the biggest offers currently available has been for Annual Passholders, who could save up to 35% on Disney-owned resort hotels on most nights through April 30.
That level of savings can dramatically change the math of a deluxe stay. Resorts that might normally feel out of reach suddenly become realistic. But once the calendar flips to May, that discount structure disappears.
And because these offers are tied to specific travel dates — not just booking dates — waiting doesn’t extend the window.
Florida Resident Rates Ending
Florida residents have also had access to savings of up to 30% on resort rooms on most nights through April 30. For locals, that’s often the difference between a quick weekend getaway and staying home.
Spring tends to be one of the most popular seasons for in-state travel. The weather is manageable, EPCOT festivals are underway, and summer crowds haven’t fully taken over yet.
Once this resident rate ends, there’s no guarantee an equally strong offer replaces it immediately.
General Public Discount Also Expiring
Even guests without special memberships have benefited this spring. A general public offer of up to 25% off resort rooms has been available for stays on most nights through April 30.
While 25% may not sound as dramatic as 35%, across a multi-night vacation it adds up quickly. Families booking moderate or value resorts have been able to offset rising ticket and dining costs with these room savings.
After April 30, that pricing structure changes.

Off-Site Partner Discount Ending Too
It’s not just Disney-owned resorts affected. D23 Gold Members have also had access to 18% savings at a nearby Good Neighbor Hotel, Homewood Suites by Hilton, which includes complimentary breakfast and shuttle transportation.
That offer follows the same spring timeline.
What This Means for Spring and Early Summer Travelers
Discounts are part of Disney’s rhythm. They arrive. They rotate. They expire.
But this particular group of four offers has been closely tied to one of the busiest travel seasons of the year. As we move into May and closer to summer break, pricing patterns typically shift toward higher demand.
For travelers still deciding, the takeaway is simple: the current discount structure ends with April stays.
If you were counting on spring rates, the clock is officially ticking.
