Easter Egg Display and Food Guide for Walt Disney World

Easter is right around the corner and we are so excited about all of the great food options that are coming to Walt Disney World.  Disney Parks Blog released a guide to egg displays, special foods and meals that you can enjoy this Easter holiday season.  The guide even includes information about brunches and other fun you can enjoy.  For the 7th year in a row, the Easter egg display will return to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  The display will include a variety of different eggs that have been designed and decorated by Disney culinary staff.

Boma – Flavors of Africa, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, will have a chocolate Easter egg display from March 30th through April 1st.  There will be eggs inspired by “Up,” “Moana,” “Peter Pan,” and more!

Magical Easter Egg at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

If you head on over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there will be a variety of different Easter eggs on display from movies like  “Beauty and the Beast,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Jungle Book,” “Lilo & Stitch,” etc. These were created by the Contemporary Bakery Team.  The display is located in the 1st floor lobby of the resort and will be there through April 4th. Easter Cupcake at Sunshine Seasons at Epcot

If you want to see even more amazing eggs, then also check out Disney’s Beach Club Resort where a chocolate Easter egg display will be available through April 3rd.  You can even purchase custom Mickey and Minnie chocolate eggs to take home to enjoy.

Easter Cupcake Offerings

If you want to sample some amazing treats, then you will want to check out the Easter cupcakes at Fountain View and Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.  The Fountain View Cupcake will be available through April 2nd and is a chocolate cupcake with marshmallow filling and topped with buttercream icing.  The Sunshine Seasons’ cupcake will only be available on April 1st and is a vanilla cupcake with a fondant bunny, jelly beans and a cookies and cream crumble on top.

Springtime Cupcake at Trolley Car Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios there will be more cupcakes! There is a Springtime Cupcake that has raspberry filling and buttercream frosting with white chocolate bunny ears.  You will find it at a variety of locations in the park including:  The Trolley Car Cafe, Rosie’s All-American Cafe, Fairfax Fare and ABC Commissary.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also have a special Easter cupcake on April 1st.  The cupcake is vanilla and filled with key lime curd.  It is topped with a coconut buttercream and fondant eggs placed on top.

Another Easter cupcake can be found at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.  This cupcake is available through April 8th and is a yellow cupcake that is filled with a marshmallow ganache, then topped with marshmallow grass and a marshmallow chick.

Easter Brunch Offerings

If Easter brunch is your thing, then you are in luck! There are a few different special brunch opportunities around Walt Disney World.  At the Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort there will be a brunch buffet offered from 9 AM to 2 PM on April 1st.  There will be a variety of different brunch items including:  red velvet pancakes, fresh fruit and pastries, spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette, sweet potato casserole, cooked-to-order omelets, brown sugar-glazed ham with orange blossom honey mustard sauce, etc.

Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will also offer a brunch on April 1st.  The brunch will run from 10 AM to 2 PM and will feature a variety of southern themed brunch items.  You will find dishes and drinks like eggs benedict with crab, southern shrimp and grits, and Nashville hot chicken on a honey biscuit, as well as special Bloody Marys and mimosas.

Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will offer their brunch from 7:30 AM to 2 PM on April 1st.  The brunch will have a variety of items that are All-You-Care-To-Enjoy.  Guests can expect assorted flatbreads, seasonal salads, and house-baked pastries and spreads as well as a choice of entrĂ©e with a specialty mimosa or non-alcoholic beverage.

None of these brunches will require reservations, so guests can show up during the available times and enjoy a delicious brunch.
