Guest Pees on Disneyland Ride, Contaminates Theme Park Area

Recent incidents at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have drawn attention to an alarming trend concerning public decency among some theme park visitors. Reports indicate that guests frequently disregard the ample restroom facilities available throughout the Disney parks, opting to ignore proper etiquette instead. This troubling behavior includes a recent instance when a father encouraged his son to urinate while in line for the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride at Disneyland Park.

Despite the numerous restrooms strategically placed across the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, instances of public urination have been documented. In one incident, a parent suggested to their child to urinate directly into the water of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride rather than taking the time to visit a restroom. Another parent encouraged their child to do the same on “it’s a small world.”

Redditor u/idkidc9876 observed a child urinating near the operator booth of Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. This event, witnessed by several other guests, prompted immediate alerts to Disney cast members. The boy’s parents refused to intervene, with the social media user calling them “total assholes.”

“A guy letting his (maybe) 8 year old son pee against the booth where the [cast member] sits and runs the Dumbo ride,” the Disney Park guest recalled. “People in line around him freaked and got the CM’s attention. The guy just could not understand why it was not okay for his child to pull his pants down in line and piss in front of strangers.”

Disney Park guests can report incidents to designated cast members, who can then take the necessary steps to address the behavior and ensure a safe and pleasant environment.

  1. Children many times are not what they learn but, are acting out what they are instructed to do.I don’t blame the child here I do feel they should have been asked to leave the park.By example we can keep these Parks as they are intended. The Cast Members are not beneath the guests they are our equal and are faced with enough challenges each day. Some people should not be in charge of children, they just don’t understand the responsibility.
