Recently, two parking trams at Disneyland Resort were involved in a minor collision. This incident occurred while dozens of Disney park guests were on board.
Disney influencer Justin Scarred (@Justinscarred on TikTok) shared a video of his experience on board the impacted parking trams. In a light-hearted tone, he narrated his experience as “the worst slightly almost kind of a fender bender ever.”
@justinscarred OH MY GOSH!! The worst slightly almost kind of a fender bender ever 😂 #randomland #disneyland #themepark #accident #disneyparks
No injuries occurred, and guests remained unharmed as they awaited the response from Disneyland Resort cast members. The minor collision resulted in only slight cosmetic damage to one tram, visible in photos shared by Scarred.
“Luckily, it wasn’t too bad,” Scarred said. “I just barely glanced [at] it, and there was just a little baby scratch on there…Just a little collision. It was a baby collision.”
Disney Parks fans jokingly encouraged Scarred to exaggerate the magnitude of any injuries, playfully suggesting that he should claim severe discomfort to secure a payout.
“I would be flopping like a fish and go to the hospital and then sue,” one commenter wrote.
“MY NECK!!!” said another.
Other Disney Parks fans recalled similar experiences with the trams, including a Disney cast member who was involved in another accident.
“I was in an accident in a backstage tram,” they wrote. “I just wanted to go home but the tram hit the monorail beam.”
Former Disney cast members said drivers involved in even minor tram collisions would face safety write-ups and conversations with management.
“If tram driver policies are any similar to attractions, someone DEFINITELY got talking to from management after that,” one former Disney cast member wrote.
“The drivers are getting a safety for sure,” said another. “Little bumps happens more often than you’d think over there. When I worked in parking, I remember a driver somehow ended up driving into a bush.”
Following the incident, Disneyland Resort’s parking trams resumed normal operations with no significant interruptions.
