Disneyland Panic: Cast Members Save the Day After Woman Fell Unconscious on Roller Coaster

A terrifying scene recently unfolded at Disneyland Paris Resort when a woman fell unconscious on the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force roller coaster. Disney cast members quickly sprang into action to assist the guest, averting what could have been a much more serious situation.

Avengers Assemble: Flight Force opened in Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be rebranded as Disney Adventure World) in 2022. For many Disney enthusiasts, the ride has a familiar feel, as it is a rethemed version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.

While Disneyland Paris rethemed Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the attraction remains open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. But Walt Disney World Resort has announced that it will shut down the current version of the ride in early 2026, making way for a Muppets-inspired retheme.

The family involved in this harrowing moment took to TikTok to recount the experience, sharing the details of what happened during their ride. According to TikTok user @alexhird96, her mother’s condition took a sudden turn when she fell unconscious mid-ride. As soon as cast members noticed the situation, they immediately arrived at the unload platform to provide assistance and escort the woman to the park’s First Aid station.

Fortunately, the woman did not require any emergency medical care. After a brief rest, she seemed to have recovered, though understandably, she is likely not planning to ride Avengers Assemble: Flight Force again anytime soon.

The family reflected on the moment they realized something was wrong, with the TikToker sharing, “Casey was shouting her name, and she wasn’t responding.”

“I could not speak,” the woman replied. “…’He said to me, ‘Watch your head, because it throws you around,’ and I knew what was coming because of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but it was ten times worse. I thought, ‘I am going to die.'”

If you or anyone in your party experiences a medical emergency during your visit to the Disney parks, be sure to alert a cast member right away or make your way to a First Aid station for assistance.
