On June 10, Disneyland Paris Resort removed the scaffolding that had surrounded the building housing La Chaumière des Sept Nains — The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs gift shop — since January 2026. X user @PixieDustDLP shared a photo of the newly revealed structure on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

The scaffolding coming down has exposed brand-new multicolored roof tiles on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)-inspired merchandise location. However, the building isn’t fully accessible yet. Construction walls still surround the structure, leaving open the question of whether Disneyland Paris Resort has additional restoration work planned.

The gift shop’s windows have been covered for some time as well, with no explanation from the European Disney Resort for why they’re no longer being used to display merchandise.

A Pattern Across Fantasyland

La Chaumière des Sept Nains is the latest building to emerge from a systematic, building-by-building restoration effort across Fantasyland at Disneyland Park this year. The same process recently played out at Les Voyages de Pinocchio (Pinocchio’s Daring Journey), where construction barriers came down to reveal a new roof and refreshed facade.

Disneyland Paris Resort has not announced plans to extend the roof replacement effort to other Fantasyland structures. However, Peter Pan’s Flight and portions of the Auberge de Cendrillon restaurant remain notably untouched.

With scaffolding now down at La Chaumière des Sept Nains, attention shifts to the building next door. Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains — the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs attraction — has been closed since March 30, 2026, and its reopening has been delayed twice. Scaffolding now surrounds that structure as facade work appears to have finally begun in earnest. The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen on July 28, 2026.
