Whether you’re a fan or not, it can’t be denied that the Walt Disney Company is a leading forefront in technology, as it’s constantly pushing the boundaries. However, Disney’s newest ride is already showing signs of technical difficulties.

Disneyland Resort is home to the original Disneyland Park, the only Disney Park Walt himself got to see. The original classics can be found here, such as Peter Pan’s Flight, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world,” and more. In fact, at the time of this article, Disneyland Park is also home to Splash Mountain, whereas Walt Disney World’s version has been closed for nearly a month now.

Seeing as Disneyland Park is the original, it holds a certain air of authority over the rest of Disney Parks. When it comes down to it, how else can another theme park compare to the original? That being said, sometimes attractions open in Walt Disney World before being placed in Disneyland.

Hollywood Studios’s Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Animal Kingdom’s Pandora The World of Avatar are two examples of attractions and themed lands that debuted in Walt Disney World before being announced for Disneyland.
Hollywood Studios is also home to the original Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which debuted in 2020. However, another Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway just debuted in Disneyland Park, making it the new and improved version…or is it?

This video is taken from Disneyland Park’s version of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. In this section of the attraction, Daisy is instructing Guests on how to waltz. As she conducts the music and choreography, Guests’ ride vehicles swivel as if waltzing.
However, this video shows Daisy freezing, the music doesn’t play, and the ride vehicles do not waltz. It seems that the technical difficulties are already showing themselves on a ride that is only weeks old. We cannot say for sure if this happens often, but we can all agree that this does not bode well for a ride so recent.
