A viral TikTok video has racked up millions of views after a Disneyland Resort guest described a frightening reaction to a specialty ingredient in one of Oga’s Cantina’s most popular cocktails.
A Scary Moment at Oga’s Cantina
TikTok user Mylee (@anaamyle) shared footage earlier this week capturing a night out at Oga’s Cantina, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge bar located at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The video, filmed at the Disneyland Resort location, has already surpassed 4.4 million views in just three days.

After finishing her first drink, Mylee ordered the Fuzzy Tauntaun, a $21.50 cocktail made with Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply Orange with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, and the drink’s signature “Buzz Button Tingling” Foam. That foam gets its distinctive sensation from buzz button flowers, which contain spilanthol, an ingredient known for producing a brief, harmless tingling and numbing effect on the lips and tongue.
In the video, Mylee is seen laughing as she licks the foam, only to accidentally inhale some of it through her nose. The reaction that followed was anything but funny. Her friends initially joked around, but quickly shifted to concern once they realized she was struggling, rushing to grab water and help calm her down.
“I genuinely could not breathe,” Mylee said in a voiceover accompanying the video. “My throat and my lungs had needles stabbing me… And then the anxiety raising up.”
Viewers Weigh In
Many commenters speculated that Mylee experienced a laryngospasm, a condition the Cleveland Clinic describes as occurring when “your vocal cords suddenly tighten or seize up so you can’t breathe or speak.” According to the medical institution, laryngospasms rarely cause lasting or serious harm and typically resolve within about 20 seconds.
“This is definitely a laryngospasm,” @roughneck_wife wrote. “Super scary. It’s happened to me before.”
Another user, @doc.mellow, offered some reassurance:
“So scary! My dad, a fireman, always said if you can cough you can breath! So as long as your coughing your okay and that soothes my chocking anxiety!!!”
Not all reactions were so measured, though. Some commenters suggested Mylee should take legal action or push for the drink’s removal from the menu entirely.
“GIRL SUE DISNEY,” said @lieutenant__dan. “GET THAT CHEQQQQUE.”
“They should not be serving this,” @stellaryess replied. “Eventually this will have bad consequences for someone.”
Oga’s Cantina has included a warning about the foam on its menu since the bar first opened in 2019, and Disney cast members occasionally alert theme park guests to the tingling and numbing sensation before they order a Fuzzy Tauntaun. It’s unclear whether Mylee received such a warning before ordering, and inhaling virtually any substance through the nose can cause temporary discomfort or breathing difficulty regardless of the ingredient involved.
Fortunately, Mylee doesn’t appear to have experienced any lasting effects following the incident.
