Although the celebration requires a separate ticket, Disney has confirmed several exciting extras that guests can enjoy without spending additional money.

From exclusive Christmas gifts to delicious holiday cookies, this year’s party has plenty of surprises waiting for visitors.

Disney World Giving Guests a Free Christmas Ornament

One of the most exciting announcements involves an exclusive keepsake that every party guest can receive.

Disney has revealed the complimentary ornament for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2026, featuring Mickey Mouse and several cheerful elves riding aboard a colorful Christmas train.

The ornament also includes the year 2026, making it a special souvenir for families who want to remember their holiday visit.

Guests can collect their ornaments when checking in for the celebration.

Disney will offer check-in at Magic Kingdom’s main entrance, along with additional locations near Tortuga Tavern, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.

Visitors can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m., even though the party officially starts at 7 p.m.

That gives families a few extra hours to enjoy attractions before the holiday festivities begin.

Complimentary Christmas Cookies Are Returning

Disney is also bringing back one of the most popular traditions of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: complimentary holiday treats.

This year’s offerings include six different locations throughout Magic Kingdom.

At The Lunching Pad, guests can enjoy Snickerdoodle Cookies, while Gaston’s Tavern will serve adorable Snowman-shaped Pretzels.

Sunshine Tree Terrace will offer Hot Cocoa Cookies made with Dove Chocolate, and Tortuga Tavern will feature Buttercream Frosted Candy Cane Flavored Cookies.

Meanwhile, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe will serve Green Sprinkle Cutout Cookies, and the Storybook Circus Train Station will have Cookie Dough Buttercream Frosted Cookies.

All six locations will also offer allergy-friendly alternatives.

Festive beverages are included with party admission, although Disney hasn’t confirmed the exact drink selections for 2026.

Previous celebrations have offered favorites such as hot cocoa, apple cider, and eggnog.

New Holiday Photos Add Even More Christmas Magic

Disney has also announced an impressive lineup of holiday photo opportunities.

New additions include Olaf Holiday and Holiday Mickey and Minnie Magic Shots along Main Street, U.S.A.

A special Shutterfly photo card experience will also be available at the gazebo behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square.

Returning favorites include Holiday Zero near Haunted Mansion, Jack’s Sleigh near The Plaza Restaurant, and a holiday-themed Orange Bird near Adventureland.

Guests can also find festive experiences featuring Stitch, Pluto, Tinker Bell, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and Mickey Mouse throughout the park.

While PhotoPass downloads may require an additional purchase, these special setups offer families plenty of opportunities to capture Christmas memories.

And with Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and other seasonal entertainment also included in the celebration, there’s certainly no shortage of things to enjoy.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights through December 22, 2026.

For guests attending this year, Disney’s latest announcements offer even more reasons to get excited about spending Christmas at Magic Kingdom.
