We’ve made adjustments to our weekend operations at CityWalk, and Guests under the age of 18 are required to depart at 9 p.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent/guardian, are staying at a Universal Hotel or seeing a movie. Reach out closer to the event for any updated info!

According to Click Orlando, the change has been in effect at Univeral Studios Orlando Resort for a few weeks, and it is subject to change. It comes on the heels of an altercation at Universal that took place on July 23.

Per the tweet, there were no gunshots, and no injuries were reported.

The curfew currently applies only to weekends at Universal Orlando‘s CityWalk–and only to guests who are under the age of 18 and unaccompanied by a parent or guardian. Again, Universal has stated that the restrictions currently in place are subject to change, meaning that there could be changes to the days of the week affected by the change, and to guests who are affected by the change.
