Being an Annual Passholder is an incredibly popular option for those who love visiting Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort on a regular basis. After the parks reopened after their forced pandemic closure, being a Disney World Annual Passholder became even more exclusive. Prior to the pandemic, guests around the world could purchase a Disney World Annual Pass. Now, most passes are available only to Florida residents, except the most expensive pass.

Disney wanted to thank those who purchased Disney World Annual Passes and, last year, they introduced V.I.Passholder Days. Passholder Days were full of exclusive perks, like a specialty magnet, and increased discounts on things like food and merchandise. There was also a lounge exclusively for Annual Passholders, which was located in The Land Pavilion.
The event was very popular and Disney is bringing it back this year. Disney World’s V.I.Passholder days will begin May 1 and run through June 18. The discounts will be back and this year, Disney has announced that there will be a brand-new lounge for Passholders to enjoy in EPCOT!
The new Annual Passholder Lounge will be located at Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion. Here is more from Disney on the new relaxation spot:
Highlights
Exclusive to Annual Passholders, the Passholder lounge is a great place to unwind during a fun-filled day at EPCOT. Here, Passholders can:
- Chill out in an air-conditioned area
- Enjoy complimentary snacks and water
- Charge mobile devices
- Pick up a complimentary Passholder button
Plus, special friends may stop by to say hello!

It is important to note that the lounge will only be available to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Guests will need to show their Annual Pass or have their MagicBand scanned to enter the area, along with a photo ID. The lounge will open daily at noon and close daily at 8 p.m.
Annual Passholders are also still required to make a reservation to visit EPCOT, the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. So, APs will need a reservation if they want to get into EPCOT and visit the Restaurant Marrakesh AP lounge. However, if they are visiting on a “Good-To-Go” day, then no reservation is needed!
During Disney’s V.I.Passholder Days, Annual Passholders will also get special discounts on shopDisney.com. You can read more about those discounts here.
