The Walt Disney World Railroad is one of Magic Kingdom’s most iconic experiences, offering a scenic 20-minute journey with stops at Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Main Street, U.S.A. The attraction reopened in 2022 after a long hiatus due to the construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run.

While the ride is a family-friendly favorite, rules are in place to ensure guest safety. Disney explicitly requires riders to remain seated for the duration of their journey. However, one guest recently ignored this essential safety precaution, as captured in a video shared by TikTok user @theapprovingofficial.

“How to give a cast member a heart attack on the train,” the TikToker wrote. “…Almost lost one off the train tonight!”

Disney Cast Members Rush to Enforce Safety

In the video, the man stood up as the train approached the Main Street, U.S.A., station. He placed his feet on the edge of the train and swung around a pole while the train was still moving. Fellow riders and cast members quickly reacted to his actions.

“Remain seated, please!” one Disney cast member exclaimed.

“Remain seated! The train is still moving!” another cast member shouted from the platform, running toward the man.

Thankfully, the Walt Disney World Resort guest complied and returned to his seat before anyone was injured. The Walt Disney World Railroad seems to have continued operating normally after the incident, though it’s unclear if the guest faced disciplinary action for his behavior.

Disney’s rules are in place to protect both guests and cast members, ensuring the magic of the theme parks is safe and enjoyable for everyone. Breaking these rules not only endangers those involved but can also lead to severe consequences, including removal from Walt Disney World property.

  1. In the years I used to go before Covid everyone was curious and pleasant. Minded the rules and I never observed any one being violent. Times have changed not for the better. Just when you think you heard it all something worse happens.
