On November 28, 2024, Reddit user u/hitmanrocks01 shared their firsthand experience of the incident. According to the Disney Parks fan, the ride abruptly stopped around 8:30 p.m., leaving their family and other guests stranded in their vehicles.
“Ride was stopped for about 20 minutes,” they explained.
During the evacuation, Disney cast members reportedly unlocked ride vehicles and instructed guests to “line up” along the walls of the attraction.
“My kids heard some kid crying, and then they were given fast passes,” the guest continued.
Although details about the cause of the breakdown remain unclear, the ride resumed operations shortly after the evacuation, and affected guests were compensated with Lightning Lane passes.
