Disney World Extends Hours for Select Parks in March — Here’s When!

Walt Disney World guests are getting a little extra magic this March as the resort has announced extended hours for both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These extended hours allow visitors more time to experience their favorite attractions, enjoy nighttime entertainment, and soak in the atmosphere without having to pay extra for an After-Hours event.

Why the Extra Hours?

Disney has been under scrutiny in recent months regarding rising costs and guest concerns about value for money. Many visitors have voiced frustration over expensive park tickets, increased food prices, and the controversial Lightning Lane system.

In response, Disney appears to be making efforts to enhance the guest experience by offering more time in the parks.

Extra Time for Disney Resort Guests

Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels will continue to enjoy early entry, which allows them to enter the parks 30 minutes before the official opening time. However, it’s important to note that only select attractions, dining locations, and shopping areas will be available during these early morning hours.

More Extended Hours Coming?

Disney has been quietly rolling out extended park hours across multiple locations, with Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios all seeing schedule changes this month. Whether this is a temporary effort to ease guest frustrations or part of a long-term strategy remains to be seen.
