Big changes are on the horizon for one of Disney’s most beloved nighttime spectaculars. Disney has officially confirmed that Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will operate on a brand-new performance schedule beginning in November, right as the holiday season gets underway.
A Show Fans Always Come Back For
Fantasmic! has been a defining part of the Disney park experience since its debut in 1998. Its combination of fireworks, lasers, fountains, and live performers creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. For many guests, that final image of Sorcerer Mickey standing triumphantly is the perfect ending to a Disney day.
Because it’s such a fan favorite, Disney usually offers multiple shows each evening. That’s especially true during busy times of the year when crowds are high and everyone wants to catch the nighttime spectacular.
October’s Familiar Schedule
Throughout October, the schedule has been consistent and easy to follow. Most nights, Fantasmic! runs at 8:00 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m., giving guests flexibility to plan their evening. There are a few single-performance nights at 9:30 p.m., but nothing too complicated.
That’s what makes November so different.
November Brings Unpredictable Showtimes
Starting next month, things won’t be as simple. On some nights, the classic two-show schedule will continue. On others, only one performance will be offered at 9:30 p.m. And on select dates tied to Jollywood Nights, Fantasmic! will move to a much earlier 6:30 p.m. showtime.
The early performance is tied to the start of Jollywood Nights at 7:30 p.m., which means regular park guests need to leave before the party begins. This gives everyone a chance to enjoy the show—even if they don’t have an event ticket.
Jollywood Nights Take Over
Jollywood Nights, a separate-ticket holiday event, brings a unique energy to the park with festive entertainment, themed snacks, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and lighter crowds. There are six event nights in November: November 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29. On these dates, the only Fantasmic! performance will be at 6:30 p.m.
Plan Before You Go
For anyone visiting in November, this schedule shift is something to pay close attention to. What might be a 9:30 p.m. show one night could be a 6:30 p.m. performance the next. If guests don’t check ahead, it’s easy to miss out entirely.
This doesn’t mean Fantasmic! is disappearing—it just shows how busy the holidays have become at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Whether you catch the early show or the later performance, Fantasmic! is set to remain one of Disney World’s most magical experiences this season.
