Disney World Christmas Party Hits Another Sellout Weeks Before Holiday Season Begins
Guests hoping to celebrate Christmas at Magic Kingdom are starting to have fewer nights to choose from.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party doesn’t begin until November, but three events have already sold out for the 2026 season. The latest disappearance could be especially important for families planning a Walt Disney World vacation close to Christmas.

Another December date is officially off the table, and it leaves guests with only one remaining option during the final stretch of the party season.
December 20 Is Officially Sold Out
Tickets are no longer available for the December 20 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
It becomes the third sold-out event of 2026, joining November 24 and December 22.
The timing makes this latest sellout particularly interesting. December 22 is the final scheduled party of the season, which means two of the final three events are now unavailable.
December 18 remains available for now.
Guests who planned to visit Walt Disney World immediately before Christmas may want to keep that date in mind. Waiting too long could leave them with no party options during the final days of the event.
Guests Still Have Plenty of Other Choices
Although three parties have reached capacity, most of the 2026 schedule remains available.
November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 27, and 29 still have tickets available.
Guests looking at December can currently choose December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, or 18.
That gives travelers considerably more flexibility earlier in the season.

Still, anyone locked into specific vacation dates doesn’t have the same luxury. If a family is only visiting for a few days, losing even one party night could completely change their plans.
What Guests Need to Know Before Buying
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed Magic Kingdom event.
The party begins at 7 p.m., but guests with party tickets can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. That allows visitors to get several hours in the park before the official event begins.
Tickets range from $189 to $229 depending on the date.
Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount. Special pricing is also available for eligible Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
Those prices mean attending the party can become a major addition to a family’s vacation budget, especially for larger groups.
For some visitors, however, experiencing Magic Kingdom during a special Christmas event is worth the added cost.
More Sellouts Could Be Coming
November 24 became the first 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to sell out. December 22 followed, and now December 20 has joined the list.
The remaining schedule still gives guests plenty of opportunities to attend, but those choices could shrink as the holiday season approaches.

December 18 could be particularly important because it is now the latest party date still available.
Guests planning a Christmas trip may have been comfortable waiting when only one or two events had sold out. Three unavailable dates could change that calculation.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is still weeks away, but some guests have already made their plans.
Anyone who hasn’t may soon have another decision to make.
Which party date will be the next to disappear?
