Disney World guests visiting in November are getting some good news, especially those hoping to squeeze a little more magic into their vacations.
Walt Disney World has updated its operating schedule for the second week of November, adding extra hours at three of its four theme parks.

The changes include earlier openings and later closing times, giving visitors more opportunities to enjoy popular attractions without feeling quite as rushed.
For families spending thousands of dollars on a Disney vacation, even an additional hour can make a difference.
And one park is receiving a particularly generous extension.
Magic Kingdom Gets Several Extra Hours
Magic Kingdom will operate longer on six dates between November 8 and November 14, 2026.
On November 8, 9, and 13, the park will open at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. Closing time remains 6 p.m. on those dates.
Meanwhile, November 10 and 11 will feature later closing times, with Magic Kingdom staying open until 11 p.m. rather than 10 p.m.

The biggest adjustment arrives November 14.
Disney has extended operating hours from the previously scheduled 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. to a new schedule of 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
That means guests will have 15 hours to explore Magic Kingdom, two more than originally planned.
The additional time could be especially helpful for families hoping to experience popular attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Haunted Mansion.
Guests who prefer arriving early may benefit from the morning extensions, while those who enjoy nighttime visits will appreciate the later closing times.
However, Magic Kingdom isn’t the only park receiving changes.
Animal Kingdom Extends Its Evening Hours
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also getting additional operating time on four dates.
On November 8, 9, and 13, the park will remain open until 7 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
November 14 brings an even bigger extension, with Animal Kingdom closing at 8 p.m. rather than 6 p.m.
Opening time remains 8 a.m. on all four dates.
These changes could be particularly exciting for guests who enjoy visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar after dark.

The land’s glowing scenery creates an entirely different experience once the sun goes down, making evening visits especially memorable.
The extra hours also give visitors more flexibility when planning attractions, meals, and afternoon breaks.
Hollywood Studios Receives a Smaller Adjustment
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also welcome guests earlier on November 14.
Instead of opening at 9 a.m., the park will begin operating at 8:30 a.m.
Closing time remains 7 p.m.
Although the extension only adds 30 minutes, it could still help guests planning to experience popular attractions such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

For visitors who prefer arriving early, that additional time provides another opportunity to get their day started.
EPCOT was not included in the latest round of operating hour changes.
What These Changes Mean for November Visitors
Disney World’s operating hours can change as vacation dates approach, so guests should always review their plans before arriving.
These latest extensions are especially welcome as the resort prepares for its busy holiday season.
Additional park time can make it easier to experience favorite attractions, take afternoon breaks, and enjoy the parks without constantly watching the clock.

However, longer operating hours don’t necessarily mean shorter wait times.
Guests should still prepare for crowds and check attraction availability throughout their visits.
For now, anyone visiting Disney World between November 8 and November 14 should take another look at their itinerary.
A few additional hours might not sound like much, but when you’re trying to make the most of a Disney vacation, every minute counts.
