Disney Transportation Frustration Boils Over in Viral Buena Vista Drive Scooter Video

Anybody who vacations at Walt Disney World knows the transportation system can either make your day incredibly easy or become the most frustrating part of your trip.

One minute you’re hopping on a nearly empty Disney bus headed straight to Magic Kingdom. The next? You’re standing outside your resort in the Florida heat wondering if the next bus is ever actually coming.

Apparently, one Disney guest recently reached their limit.

A TikTok video that started making the rounds online shows a guest riding a mobility scooter directly down Buena Vista Drive near Walt Disney World property instead of waiting for Disney transportation. The clip was shared by TikTok user @mikebickley, who captioned the video, “He must have gotten tired of waiting on a bus.”

@mikebickley He must have gotten tired of waiting on a bus and just thought he’d roll down Buena Vista Dr at Disney! #disney #disneyworld #scooter #cops #onpatrollive ♬ Slow Ride – Foghat

And honestly, the internet immediately understood the vibe.

The video itself is pretty wild to watch because it looks like something out of a comedy sketch. Cars continue driving down the road normally while the guest casually cruises along on the scooter nearby.

The text added over the TikTok reads:

“Your tired of waiting for Disney Transportation. Just ride your Scooter down Buena Vista Dr!”

That one line alone probably explains why so many Disney fans connected with the clip almost instantly.

Disney Transportation Can Be a Rollercoaster

Disney transportation is one of the biggest reasons many guests stay on property. Buses, monorails, Skyliner gondolas, and boats help visitors move around Walt Disney World without needing to drive themselves everywhere.

Most of the time, it works pretty well.

But longtime Disney guests also know transportation delays can become exhausting fast, especially during busy seasons. Morning rope drop crowds, nighttime park closings, storms, and packed buses can all create major slowdowns.

And when you’ve already spent all day walking around the parks, patience usually disappears pretty quickly.

That’s part of why this TikTok became so relatable online.

Almost every Disney fan has probably joked at some point about giving up on transportation entirely after staring at a crowded bus stop for too long. Most people never actually do it, though.

This guest apparently decided to create their own backup plan.

Scooters Are Everywhere at Disney World

Mobility scooters are extremely common at Walt Disney World. Disney has built much of its transportation system around accommodating scooters and wheelchairs, including special loading areas on buses and accessibility features across property.

Guests use scooters for plenty of reasons, whether it’s mobility concerns, medical needs, injuries, or simply trying to survive the massive amount of walking required during a Disney vacation.

That’s why seeing one traveling independently down Buena Vista Drive stood out so much online.

Normally, scooters are being loaded onto Disney buses or maneuvered through the parks themselves. Watching one ride down a major Disney roadway instead definitely caught people’s attention.

The video does not show where the guest was ultimately headed, but it did not take long for the comments section to fill up with reactions.

Some people joked that the guest probably arrived faster than the bus would have. Others pointed out how frustrating transportation waits can become after fireworks or at the end of long park days.

Disney Guests Know the Feeling

Part of what makes the TikTok funny is how believable the frustration behind it feels.

Walt Disney World vacations are amazing, but they can also become exhausting. Guests spend hours standing in attraction lines, navigating crowds, checking Lightning Lane return times, mobile ordering meals, and walking miles through the parks every day.

By nighttime, even a small transportation delay can suddenly feel huge.

That’s why this scooter moment connected with so many people online. It captured a very real Disney vacation emotion in a way that was unexpected and honestly pretty hilarious.

Of course, guests should absolutely follow Disney transportation and roadway safety rules rather than attempting to scooter through traffic around property.

Still, the TikTok has become one of those funny Disney vacation moments that fans immediately understand without much explanation.

Because somewhere out there, another tired Disney guest standing at a crowded resort bus stop is probably watching that video thinking, “Honestly… I get it.”
