Teachers are some of the hardest working people we know. They show up day in and day out through often impossible cumstances to teach our children and often pay for supplies out of their own pockets. Teachers are truly a treasure that deserve way more recognition than they get.
That is why we are so excited to let you guys know about an incredible opportunity from Disney for teachers only! Money is tight and travel isn’t cheap so Disneyland Resort is going to fly 100 teachers to Disneyland during Teacher Appreciation Week this May! This is similar to the 50th anniversary celebration contest that Walt Disney World Resort held in 2021. To be one of the 100 teachers selected, you must submit an essay to Disney Creative Campus detailing how your creativity inspires your students. The 100 winners will receive four-day, three-night stay at Disneyland Resort to experience (including lodging and airfare) to experience the Disney100 celebration as well as an inside look into Disney Imagination Campus workshops and offerings.
According to Disney, “This exciting weekend is full of once-in-a-lifetime moments that will inspire teachers’ creativity while celebrating their amazing accomplishments. Winners will be honored with an inspiring keynote speech and will get to experience our reimagined Disney Imagination Campus workshops reflecting curriculum in Science & Technology, Arts & Humanities, Leadership & Innovation and Performing Arts. And, of course, they will experience all the magic of the Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort through surprise special moments and amazing new experiences!”
The Disney100 excitement doesn’t stop there. 100 more teachers will receive a $100 Disney gift card to help bring imagination to classrooms and unlock the magic of learning.
