If you have ever spent an evening at Disney Springs deciding where to eat, you probably know just how many choices are packed into the shopping and entertainment district.
But one of those choices is officially running out.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is closing at Disney Springs, with the restaurant scheduled to serve its final guests on September 13, 2026. The restaurant has been part of the Disney Springs dining scene since 2018, giving guests a full-service option in the heart of Town Center.
And if you are the type of Disney traveler who has a running list of favorite restaurants, this is one worth paying attention to.
The closure comes at a time when Disney Springs is already going through a noticeable amount of turnover. Several familiar restaurants, stores, and food offerings have disappeared over the past year, leaving guests with a constantly changing lineup every time they return.
For Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill fans, however, there is at least one small consolation.
You still have time for one last meal.
Mark September 13 on the Calendar
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill opened in November 2018 after Disney announced the concept in May 2017.
The roughly 250-seat restaurant sits in Town Center, directly across from Planet Hollywood. Its design was intended to capture the relaxed California atmosphere associated with Wolfgang Puck while incorporating a more traditional farmhouse-inspired look.
Food was at the center of the experience, with the menu combining Mediterranean influences with updated comfort food classics.
That made the restaurant an easy fit for Disney Springs.
It was upscale enough for a proper dinner, but casual enough that guests didn’t necessarily need to treat the meal like a major vacation event.
That convenience is now coming to an end.
Disney has not announced what will replace Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, meaning the future of the location remains a mystery.
There Is Still Plenty to Eat Before the Goodbye
If you are hoping to make a final visit, the current menu gives you plenty of options.
The appetizer section includes Zeppole Cinnamon Sugar for $14, Bruschetta with Stracciatella Cheese for $17, Crab Cakes for $23, and Crispy Chicken Wings with Sweet & Spicy Chili Soy Glaze for $18.
The restaurant also serves Truffled Potato Chips with Point Reyes Blue Cheese Sauce for $17.
For something lighter, guests can choose from the Strawberry & Feta Salad at $20, Chinois Chicken Salad at $21, or Caesar Salad at $18.
Then there is the pizza.
The wood-fired lineup currently includes Margherita for $19, Sausage for $22, Pepperoni for $21, Mushroom for $21, and Smoked Salmon for $34.
Pasta fans can order Four Cheese Ravioli for $31, Rigatoni Bolognese for $32, or Mac & Cheese with Roasted Pork Belly for $21.
The restaurant’s larger entrees include Viennese Chicken Schnitzel for $28 and the Puck Burger for $25.
And yes, brunch is part of the equation too.
The current brunch menu includes Old School Breakfast for $27, French Toast for $23, Huevos Rancheros for $24, and Steak and Eggs for $49.
For drinks, cocktails such as the Coconut Berry Refresher with P1 Vodka and Red Bull and the Isla Rosa Mule with Corazon Tequila are both currently priced at $19.
So if you have been putting off trying the restaurant, the clock is officially ticking.
Disney Springs Has Been Saying Goodbye Quite a Bit Lately
The Wolfgang Puck announcement isn’t happening in isolation.
Disney Springs has experienced several notable closures over the past year, creating a very different dining and shopping landscape for returning guests.
Sprinkles Cupcakes was among the most recognizable departures. The cupcake shop was especially memorable for its Cupcake ATM, which became something of a Disney Springs novelty for guests looking for a late-night sweet treat.
The shopping district also lost Francesca’s, which closed its Disney Springs location on March 29 amid broader changes involving its parent company and bankruptcy proceedings.
Shore followed, closing its Disney Springs location on May 1.
That particular space won’t remain empty forever. Athletic apparel company Vuori is expected to move into the location.
Johnston & Murphy also closed its Disney Springs location on May 7.
Then, in June, several food trucks in the Exposition Park area were permanently removed.
For guests who haven’t visited Disney Springs recently, the number of changes can be surprising.
A trip that once revolved around a few familiar favorites may now look completely different.
Your Favorite Disney Restaurant Can Disappear
There is something uniquely frustrating about returning to Walt Disney World after a few years and discovering that the restaurant you remembered is gone.
Disney Springs makes this especially noticeable because it has become such a popular part of a Walt Disney World vacation.
You don’t need a park ticket to visit.
That means families often use Disney Springs for arrival day, departure day, rest days, or evenings when everyone is simply too tired to tackle another theme park.
A restaurant can easily become part of that routine.
Maybe Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill was where you went after checking into your hotel. Maybe it was the place you chose for a birthday dinner. Maybe you simply liked having a reliable sit-down restaurant near the shops.
Once September 13 arrives, those plans will have to change.
The Next Restaurant Has a Lot to Live Up To
Disney has not revealed what will eventually occupy the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill space.
That will likely make the location one to watch.
Town Center is one of the busiest areas of Disney Springs, and the restaurant’s location across from Planet Hollywood gives any future tenant plenty of visibility.
Whatever replaces it will also inherit a location that has already been part of countless Disney vacations.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the replacement will be bad.
Disney Springs has repeatedly reinvented itself, and some former favorites have eventually been replaced by restaurants or shops that become new traditions for guests.
But there is always an adjustment period.
The first time you walk through Town Center and realize Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is no longer there, it will be a different Disney Springs.
One Last Bite Before the Doors Close
There are still weeks to go before the September 13 closing date, and Disney Springs isn’t exactly short on alternatives. But if Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is one of your favorites, this is your warning to make that final visit sooner rather than later.
And if you’ve never eaten there, this may be your last chance to decide for yourself whether it deserved a spot on your Disney Springs dining list.
Disney vacations are full of big moments, but sometimes the memories that stick around are much smaller. A favorite appetizer. A familiar table. A drink after a long park day. A restaurant you return to every time because you know exactly what you want to order.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill has been part of those moments for nearly eight years.
Soon, it will be part of Disney Springs history.
So, if you’re heading to Walt Disney World before September 13, maybe leave a little room in the itinerary for one final meal.
