Test Track may have received one of EPCOT’s biggest recent overhauls, but Disney isn’t leaving the rest of the experience untouched.
Guests returning to the attraction will now find another update waiting for them after the ride. This one doesn’t change the high-speed experience, but it does replace something visitors may remember from their last trip.
And the timing is notable. Test Track’s latest update arrives as several other corners of EPCOT are also getting attention, giving returning guests plenty of new details to discover.
Test Track Took a Different Route With Its Latest Reimagining
The current version of Test Track introduced a new direction for the attraction when it reopened in World Discovery.
Instead of leaning as heavily into the futuristic style of the previous version, the reimagined ride looks more toward the history of transportation. It also draws inspiration from World of Motion, the EPCOT attraction that previously occupied the location.
That approach gives the ride a stronger connection to EPCOT’s past while preserving one of its most recognizable elements: the high-speed finale.
The update also changed the overall feel of the experience, but Test Track has always extended beyond the ride track itself. Its relationship with General Motors remains evident in the exit showroom, where guests can view vehicles after completing the attraction.
That part of Test Track now looks different, too.
A New Group of Vehicles Has Arrived
Most of the General Motors vehicles on the right side of the Test Track showroom have been replaced with newer models.
The latest display focuses heavily on 2026 vehicles, though one model gives guests a look ahead to 2027. Most of the vehicles on the opposite side of the room remain unchanged.
One exception is a vintage Impact from the 1990s, which now adds an older piece of automotive history to the showroom.
Guests can do more than simply walk around the vehicles. General Motors employees remain available to answer questions, and those interested in buying can also discuss a possible purchase.
Signs placed beside the vehicles include specifications and pricing details.
The showroom also continues to feature an especially expensive Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, valued at approximately $221,000.
These Vehicles Are Currently on Display
The updated collection includes Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac models, as well as the vintage Impact.

- Chevrolet 2026 Suburban Z71 AWD

- Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, priced around $221,000
- Chevrolet 2026 Silverado 1500 Crew RST 2WD
The Cadillac Vistiq Platinum stands apart from the rest because it is the only 2027 model currently included in the showroom.
That makes the post-ride area worth another look for guests who may have walked through it quickly on previous visits. But Test Track is far from the only EPCOT location getting attention.
World Showcase Is Seeing Changes, Too
Several other parts of EPCOT are also dealing with updates and visible construction.
The Germany and Canada pavilions both have work taking place, adding more construction activity around World Showcase. Guests making their way around World Showcase Lagoon may notice those projects along the way.
The Mexico pavilion has also lost a familiar feature. The wood shop that previously operated inside the pyramid is no longer there.
Meanwhile, the France pavilion has seen a smaller addition rather than a removal.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure recently received new props, adding fresh details to the attraction. While those changes are much smaller than the projects affecting other areas of EPCOT, they still give repeat visitors another reason to pay attention.
Taken together, the updates show how EPCOT continues to evolve through a mix of larger construction projects, removals, and smaller additions.
Test Track Is Still Getting Updates
The latest showroom refresh doesn’t change the Test Track ride itself. Still, it updates what guests see immediately afterward, giving visitors another reason to spend time exploring the post-ride area instead of heading straight for the exit.
With several 2026 vehicles, a 2027 Cadillac, the vintage Impact, and the high-priced Corvette ZR1 now part of the display, the showroom has a noticeably different lineup than before. Even guests who experienced the reimagined attraction last year can find something new during their next visit.
And with additional work underway across World Showcase and smaller additions at attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, EPCOT continues to give returning guests new details to notice throughout the park.
