Disney Releases BIG Discount for Families

We have always known that Disney is all about bringing families together. Walt Disney’s vision was to create a place where parents and kids could have fun together. This dream came true with Disneyland and has continued since then through new theme parks, movies, and more magic.

Even though the magic is still present at Disney Parks, some might argue that crowds and travel are down. In recent posts by Disney, we saw that moving forward, $60 billion will be focused on domestic and international parks and cruise lines over the next ten years. This is twice the amount spent in the previous ten years.

Disney isn’t just focusing on updating the parks but also working on campaigns that will bring crowds back to the parks.

Disney Adults

New campaigns have been tried as Disney and other companies continue to rebound following the pandemic.

Recently, we have seen Disney focus on the “Disney Adult.” Campaigns showed adults enjoying Disney as kids and then once again as Disney adults. Disney has worked hard to create experiences for adults throughout Disney Parks.

From high-thrill attractions such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tron: Lightcycle Run to new adult-focused events like Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney has worked hard to continue to be a destination for not just families but also adults.

Although this focus might have worked for a while, Disney seems to be switching back to young families.

New Kids Play & Dine Option

Now is a fantastic time for families wanting to experience Walt Disney World and the magic of a Disney vacation.

The new “Kids Play & Dine for 50% Off” allows you to take a magical family vacation while saving money. Disney advertises this by saying:

“Save on a magical family vacation this spring! Children’s (ages 3 to 9) theme park tickets and dining plans are half off with the purchase of a nondiscounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package for you and your children that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel, as well as theme park tickets and a dining plan.”

This new offer is available to book now. The offer is available for most nights from March 3, 2024, through March 24, 2024, and again from April 7, 2024 through June 30, 2024.

These dates make it a perfect option for spring break and early summer 2024 trips to Walt Disney World. Offering a discount during this typically busy time of year illustrates that Disney might be anticipating lower-than-normal crowds during spring break and summer.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
