Disney Disaster? Disneyland Paris Blocks off Portion of Main Street, U.S.A. After Foundational Issues Discovered
At Disneyland Paris, Main Street, U.S.A., an iconic promenade encapsulates the charm of early 20th-century American small towns. Serving as the inaugural “themed land” upon entry to numerous Disney theme parks globally, it offers visitors a picturesque setting for leisurely shopping and strolling.
An alarming discovery has been made that could have been far worse had Disney Park not been noticed sooner.
DLP Report on X reported on April 20 that a portion of Disneyland Paris’s Main Street, U.S.A., had been roped off following what they, at the time, were calling an “issue with a set element.” After about an hour, it was discovered that the “issue” was a structural problem found in the foundation of the upper portion of the area, which you can see in the photo below:

The emergence of these issues may prompt temporary closures or restricted access to specific areas of the park, affecting the overall guest experience. This could lead to disappointment and frustration among visitors who have traveled to enjoy the park’s attractions and entertainment offerings.

Since first stepping inside the Magic Kingdom at nine years old, I knew I was destined to be a theme Park enthusiast. Although I consider myself a theme Park junkie, I still have much to learn and discover about Disney. Universal Orlando Resort has my heart; being an Annual Passholder means visiting my favorite places on Earth when possible! When I’m not writing about Disney, Universal, or entertainment news, you’ll find me cruising on my motorcycle, hiking throughout my local metro parks, or spending quality time with my girlfriend, family, or friends.
