Disney World Gives Just 17 Days’ Notice Before HUGE Ticket Price Increase
Fans hoping to attend this year’s Disney Jollywood Nights may want to make room in their budgets, because ticket prices are going up. Walt Disney World Resort gave guests just days to plan for the price hike.
Disney Jollywood Nights is set to return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the 2025 holiday season, and while fans can expect returning favorites and brand-new entertainment, they’ll also need to brace for a noticeable price increase. The late-night event, which launched in 2023, is now among the most expensive hard-ticket offerings at Walt Disney World Resort.
This week, Disney Parks Blog shared the dates and details for several seasonal offerings across all four theme parks. Unlike the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays or Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom—which are included with regular admission—Disney Jollywood Nights requires a separate ticket. Sadly, those tickets just got more expensive.
Tickets now range from $159 to $199. While the lowest price, $159, is the same as in 2024, the $199 ceiling is a $20 increase from $179 last year. In 2024, many December dates were priced at the high end, $179. This means guests visiting during the most popular dates will pay almost $200 per person.
Originally introduced in 2023, Disney Jollywood Nights struggled out of the gate. Guests reported long waits for snacks, poorly organized queues, and inconsistent character experiences. In response, Disney made noticeable changes midway through the event’s first season, including staffing boosts and more rare character appearances.
In 2025, Disney appears to be building on that feedback. One of the biggest updates is an earlier entry time: Ticketholders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios at 5:30 p.m. instead of 6:00 p.m. The event officially runs from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., offering five full hours of holiday-themed fun.
Among the new entertainment offerings this year is Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, a street party starring Miguel from Pixar’s Coco (2017). Two of Walt Disney World Resort’s newest stage shows—“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After”—will also be available during the event.
Popular entertainment returning this year includes “Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!,” the “Glisten!” skating show, the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, and multiple rare character meet-and-greets, including Santa Stitch and Phineas and Ferb. “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along” is also back for another season.
Disney Jollywood Nights will take place on:
November: 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29
December: 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22
Tickets go on sale to Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests starting July 16, with general public sales opening July 22. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members can save $10 on any Disney Jollywood Nights ticket.
