Harsh Allegations Hit Disney

The woman, identified as Nicole Bishop, reported that on a recent trip, while visiting Disneyland Resort with her family, she experienced what she believes was discriminatory behavior from a cast member. According to Bishop, the cast member’s actions and remarks were offensive and made her feel unwelcome. She showed the altercation with the security cast member on her TikTok.

In the video, Bishop can be seen arguing with a security cast member. It appears that the cast members have told Bishop, who is a wheelchair user, that her son cannot ride in the wheelchair with her. Bishop argues against this ruling, saying that stopping them is in violation of The Americans with Disabilities Act.

Public Reaction Backfires

The incident has generated a considerable response from the public, with many expressing a negative reaction to the footage. Many find her to be offensive in the way she speaks to the security personnel and find her disregard for the rule appalling. One comment shared:

“She is really trying to create something that isn’t there. This man is being so nice about it. It’s a rule. She isn’t going to win. I do understand someone could also argue a person that can walk shouldn’t give their child a piggy back ride either. We all do it. Kids get tired at Disney. She would feel silly if she kept arguing until she got kicked out and then ruined her child’s experience all because she couldn’t set an example of how to follow the rules smh.”

Looking Ahead

The situation underscores the ongoing importance of hearing out both sides of an argument before making an informed opinion. While this guest is entitled to her feelings, posting this cast member on TikTok was likely not the best course of action.
